Ahok Wants Jakarta DBD Free

City Administration uses 2015 ASEAN Dengue Fever Day as momentum for anti-mosquito. With the help of Dengue Fever counseling mobile bus, Jakarta is expected would be free from the dangerous diseases.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama stated, the launching of the wigglers hunter bus is also conducted to succeed the Jakarta DBD Free  program. The bus is planned will operate around the city.

According to Ahok, the bus operation eventually will be supervised by the urban village head in each area. The bus will get around entire city within 4 months.

"Urban Village Head is responsible about this. We have assigned them to be in charge. As, we really want the Jakarta DBD Free. So the bus will keep being socialized for 4 months," he told, at City Hall, Monday (6/15).

He added, the counseling bus is very important and helpful for citizens, particularly for upper-middle class. Regarding, wigglers live in clean water environment that precisely in elite residential.

"Precisely upper-middle class citizens who live in apartment are not often given counseling. Hence, with this bus, we can give them socialization," he uttered.

Head of Jakarta Health Department, Koesmedi Priharto hoped, the counseling bus could help city administration for running into the elite circles in the dangerous diseases socialization program.

"We're still difficult to get in there until now. We hope with this bus Jakarta would be free in the next 2020," he disclosed.
